Our crew brings together two complementary backgrounds, united by a taste for challenge, discovery and adventure. On one side, human performance and physiology; on the other, technical expertise and project management. Together, these strengths give us a natural basis for working as a team.
For us, Rallye Sirocco is far more than travelling from one destination to another. It is a chance to discover Morocco differently, encounter places and people we might otherwise never meet, and share an adventure that will stay with us long after the finish line.
We are motivated by the challenge of adapting to the unexpected, working together and making decisions throughout the route. Youssef’s experience in managing complex projects and resolving unforeseen situations complements Lotfi’s knowledge of physiology, sport and human performance.
Our mission is simple: enjoy the journey fully, meet its challenges and make the most of every kilometre. An adventure is also everything that happens along the way: unexpected moments, obstacles, encounters, landscapes and memories created with a teammate. We want this combination of adventure, teamwork, discovery and challenge to be as enriching and memorable as possible.
Their story
Lotfi Nizar
Lotfi Nizar is a university lecturer and researcher in physiology and sports science. His academic work focuses on human performance, physical activity and the body’s physiological responses to exercise.
Alongside his research and teaching, he is drawn to entrepreneurship, new experiences and challenges that take him beyond his usual surroundings. At Rallye Sirocco, he brings his understanding of sport and human performance to a shared adventure built on adaptability and teamwork.
Their story
Youssef El Goumi
Youssef El Goumi is a construction works manager and project manager with 12 years of experience in the building sector. His work covers the management, coordination and technical supervision of major construction projects, from their first planning stages through to completion.
He has worked on large residential developments, office buildings and hotels, including major projects in Casablanca Finance City and sites across Morocco. His experience in complex projects and unexpected situations brings a practical, technical perspective to the crew’s decisions along the route.
