Essential answers for crews, sponsors and partners preparing for Rallye Sirocco 2026, a Morocco regularity rally from Marrakech through Ouarzazate, M’hamid El Ghizlane, Zagora, Foum El Oued, Taznakht, Aït Ben Haddou and back to Marrakech.
Participation, payment and volunteering — clearly explained.
Only submitting the crew pre-registration form is free, and it does not confirm a place. Rally participation is paid. Volunteer applications are also free, but volunteering is a completely separate application and selection process.
No. It is the total fee for one two-person crew: one driver and one co-driver.
No. A 2,000 MAD deposit is required to confirm and secure the place when your crew is contacted. You then have approximately two months to pay the remaining balance.
Crews are contacted in phases. Requests are handled broadly on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to basic eligibility, availability and the 15-crew capacity. Submitting a pre-registration does not confirm a place.
Yes. Driver and co-driver may approach companies, brands, local businesses and professional contacts. Confirmed crews receive guidance on available branding spaces, sector exclusivities, companies they may approach and how to structure sponsorship efforts. Rallye Sirocco plans a sponsorship seminar and open communication channels, but cannot guarantee that sponsors will be found or cover the fee.
Participants enter as a paid two-person crew: one driver and one co-driver. Volunteers submit a separate free volunteer application with a CV and motivation, followed by screening, shortlisting, interviews and final selection. Volunteering does not provide a driver or co-driver place.
A crew consists of one driver and one co-driver. At least one crew member must hold a valid Category B driving licence; preferably both so they can alternate driving. No racing licence is required.
The package includes the MG ZS Hybrid+ provided for the event, fuel for the rally route, accommodation, meals, official clothing, rally kits, rally logistics, cultural activities and experiences, trophies and ceremony, event assistance, and humanitarian contributions and actions.
No. International travel to and from Marrakech is not included. Crews arrange their own flights or other international transport.
The main stages and general route are public. Exact hotels, restaurants, detailed schedules, activities and operational information are still being finalized and will only be shared with officially confirmed crews.
No. It is a regularity rally based on precise timing, navigation, consistency and teamwork rather than maximum speed.
